My long-time friends at public broadcasting channel Once Television knocked on my door to create something special for the holiday season.
More Feliz, Less Navidad
This project required some heavy lifting, so I teamed up with another motion designer and a sound technician to bring a real Mexican Christmas vibe to life.
In 4 weeks we put together a clip mixing 3D elements with a plastic texture and 2D patterns for a kaleidoscopic Christmas vibe. Sidestepping the typical red, green, and white Christmas colors, we referenced the colorful lights strung in the markets of Mexico with a bold and saturated palette.
